Calvin Harris - Summer
Scottish dance producer Calvin Harris continues serve up the mega hits! 'Summer' is the lead single from his forthcoming fourth album and it's already a top ten chart performer in more than nine countries. It arrives following the DJ's 2012 record '18 Months' which spawned a staggering eight singles including 'Thinking About You', 'I Need Your Love' and 'Bounce'. Who knows what guests will be making an appearance on the LP but I'm guessing there will be plenty.
Ellie Goulding - Beating Heart
British pop star Ellie Goulding recently won Best British Female Solo Artist at the Brit Awards, plus she had a hit with 'Goodness Gracious'. Not wanting to slow down, Goulding has penned the new hit 'Beating Heart'. You won't find it on her record 'Halcyon Days', it's taken from the 'Divergent' soundtrack which is in cinemas now. Believe it or not, the original version was written on a banjo by singer Joe Janiak.
Sia - Chandelier
Our home grown starlet Sia returns after a four year absence with a HUGE vocal performance on her latest song 'Chandelier'. It sounds like the microphone is about to break! It's taken from the 38-year old's sixth album '1000 Forms Of Fear' (expected this June). 'Chandelier' was co-written with Jesse Shatkin (Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry) and one again produced by Greg Kurstin (known for his work with Lily Allen, P!nk and Kelly Clarkson).
Jessica Mauboy - Never Be The Same
Jessica Mauboy continues to dominate the airwaves with 'Never Be The Same', a R&B flavoured power ballad! The Darwin native delivered her ARIA Gold album 'Beautiful' late last year featuring 'Pop A Bottle (Fill Me Up)' and 'To The End Of The Earth'. It's a bittersweet song which Mauboy has described as her most vulnerable yet. Meanwhile, the singer is busy working on a new song for the Eurovision Song Contest. You can check it out on the SBS documentary 'Jessica Mauboy's Road to Eurovision'.
