Our biggest Chart Hits of 2014 has arrived, don't miss the hottest pop, dance and urban singles - all in one playlist!
Justice Crew - 'Que Sera'
Australian dance outfit Justice Crew continue to dominate the ARIA Chart with their latest single 'Que Sera'. It takes cues from the lyrics of the original 50s pop song ("What will be, will be") but bares little resemblance otherwise. Justice Crew first rose to prominence in 2010 after winning the TV talent show 'Australia's Got Talent'. Since then, the six man group have released an album and shared the stage with some big names including Chris Brown, One Direction, Ke$ha and Pitbull.
Ariana Grande Feat. Iggy Azalea - 'Problem'
Twenty year-old singer and actress Ariana Grande has delivered her most successful single to date in 'Problem'! It's the lead single from Grande's forthcoming second album and wasted no time storming the charts after being lapped up by commercial radio. This time round Aussie urban star Iggy Azalea joined for a guest appearance. Which can't have hurt, after all Iggy's new record 'The New Classic' is also right near the top of the Billboard Album Charts. Apparently the pair met at Katy Perry's place after the MTV Awards last year.
Sam Smith - 'Stay With Me'
Last month British singer Sam Smith released his debut album 'In The Lonely Hour' featuring his hits 'Lay Me Down' and 'Money On My Mind'. For his latest song 'Stay With Me' producer Jimmy Napes (Clean Bandit, Eliza Doolittle) paired his soulful voice with a gospel choir to give the chorus a powerful feel. Sam's big break came in 2012 when he featured on Disclosure's hugely successful single 'Latch'. Fans can expect more from the Brit Award winner this year, 'Leave Your Lover' has already been earmarked as single number four!
Coldplay - 'Magic'
Coldplay's sixth record 'Ghost Stories' debuted in the top spot on the album charts, hardly surprising given their meteoric success! The British rockers once again teamed up with producer Paul Epworth (Adele, McCartney, Florence & The Machine) who helped craft the lead single 'Magic' and the recent radio favourite 'A Sky Full Of Stars'. It's already been labelled as a transitional album, with more use of electronics and even danceable beats. However 'Magic' is classic Coldplay, a mid tempo love song with a great music video to match.
