Birds Of Tokyo – Lanterns

Perth rockers Birds Of Tokyo release their fourth album ‘March Fires’ this month. The record features the lead single ‘This Fire’ and their biggest hit to date, ‘Lanterns’. The five piece have produced an anthem worthy of chart domination and a contender for ARIA single of the year. Birds Of Tokyo formed almost ten years ago, following a collaboration between singer Ian Kenny’s band Karnivool and Tragic Delicate.

Bingo Players Feat. Far East Movement – Get Up (Rattle)

‘Get Up (Rattle)’ is a huge dancefloor smash that sports a brilliant music video featuring some very, very, dangerous ducks! The Dutch dance duo (Paul Bäumer and Maarten Hoogstraten) have teamed up with LA’s Far East Movement for the tune, known for their gigantic hit, ‘Like A G6’. The culmination of talent has been beneficial, storming the single, dance and club charts.

P!nk Feat. Nate Ruess – Just Give Me A Reason

I hope you’re a fan of New York band Fun, because you’re going to be hearing a lot of lead singer Nate Ruess on the radio this year! The thirty year old has joined forces with P!nk to duet on her latest single, ‘Just Give Me A Reason’. The results speak for themselves, after just two weeks in the chart, the power ballad climbed into the top spot. Taken from P!nk’s sixth album, ‘The Truth About Love’ (available now through Sony).

McFly – Love Is Easy

Here’s a strange fact, British pop act McFlyhave released two studio albums in the past five years and two greatest hits collections. Hmm… lucky they write a lot of hits! Their latest compilation, ‘Memory Lane: The Best of McFly’ has four new songs including the single, ‘Love Is Easy’. The four piece have sold more than ten million albums since starting out in 2003, impressive!
